The Corridor Gallery Project Space is the literal corridor where Corridor Gallery began in 1996. In 2002 Corridor Gallery was expanded to include a main gallery room. Corridor Galleryserves the local community by hosting special events aimed at initiating a dialogue on matters relating to contemporary art. The Corridor Gallery Project Spacemost often highlights one or two artists from our gallery submissions and often is an artists first solo opportunity. The main Corridor Gallery exhibits 6-8 artists at a time in diverse group exhibitions that are usually guest curated by an emerging curator.
Corridor Gallery also houses the Rush Education Programs. Once a year Corridor Gallery celebrates the Rush Education Teaching Artists sharing the education theme and becoming a teaching resource used by many visiting school groups. Corridor Gallery is also home to Rush Education Programs that exposes and immerses disadvantaged urban youth in the study and practice of contemporary art.
